Angela P. replied:
I don't know if he is the most reasonable. I never checked but I had two in them at the same time too. I really liked Dr. Keaton in Pikeville and they set me up on a payment plan.
Need the name of a new orthodontist that is actually one. And decently priced. For Carlee and me. Not a dentist who practices ortho.
Paul M. replied:
We takes ours to Dr Hoagburg on maplecrest, all they do is specialty ortho
Angela H. replied:
Dr Cohen (I think he is ortho) is suppose to be great and reasonable. Dr Bussick is nice also. Also I have a $50 coupon for the one my friend works for I'll give you since we haven't needed it yet!
Kimberly A. replied:
We take the boys to Cohen orthodontics. Dr. Cohen and Dr. Johnson are very good and very specialized. Cohen also goes to our church. You can go in for a free consultation.
Angela-Bryan H. replied:
Cohen and Johnson... They are awesome!
Amber G. replied:
A really good friend of mine works for Dr. Hoagburg -- sounds like a great place!
Looking for a recommendation for an orthodontist. Hoping for reasonable prices, great service and customer service and near downtown FW. A girl can hope, right? ...
Kerry H. replied:
Dr. Bussick's office has great service, but they're out SW by Lutheran.
Bethany C. replied:
I had Dr. Dellinger. All staff are fabulous!
Brenda H. replied:
Dr Ingleman and Parrish are very much of a perfectionist. They have a office on Tillman and Jefferson (across from Biaggis) that's where I take Hannah and I work in the dental field(not ortho)
Jenna S. replied:
We love Dr. Becker on Jefferson
Darcy Q. replied:
We love Dr. Angela Becker!
Gretchen H. replied:
I loved Dr. Becker on Jefferson too...She is very reasonable and sets up payment plans....
Does anyone have a recommendation on an Orthodontist? We're looking for someone in the Ft. Wayne area.
Matt T. replied:
Dr Thompson (I think). On coldwater across from perry hill school
Stephanie T. replied:
Cohen and Johnson Orthodontics at DuPont is wonderfull!!!! Both doctors are great and the staff is awesome too!
Tara L. replied:
Dr. Dellinger - Orthodontic Specialty Services We haven't started Tristan yet because of $$ but they have been great to us along the process of checking him every six months for a couple of years and their recommendations about treatment.
Kevin M. replied:
Yes, Kelly. My wife has worked at Dr. Dellinger - Orthodontic Specialty Services for 20 years. They are well known and respected in the area and the industry. Both my wife and I went there before my wife started working there. My daughter went there.
Phil S. replied:
We had a good experience with Dr. Cohen's office as well.
Recommendations for an orthodontist. Preferably in the SW area but not opposed going up North if you think it is worth the drive.
Caylynne M. replied:
Dr. Hoagburg
Laura M. replied:
Dr Parrish.
Amanda A. replied:
Cohen & Johnson. I saw Dr. Johnson mostly. Their office is at Dupont, but I think it was definitely worth it! I'm from CC, so it was pretty far for me, but I am so happy with my decision. I started with Dellinger and it was horrible. I went there because I heard many good things, but I only have bad things to report from my experience!!! I called C&J and asked if they would give me a second opinion because I felt like things weren't going well where I was. Dr. Johnson made me feel so comfortable and told me about their Sure Smile program which is pretty special. I am so thankful I ended up in their office, and they are always so wonderful when I am there:)
Meredith G. replied:
Hoagburg and Parrish. They're together. Awesome people.
Does anyone have any recommendations for an orthodontist on the southwest side of Fort Wayne?
Tricia G. replied:
We love Bussick Orthodontics! Isabella, Savannah & Sierra all see him. They make kids feel at home and they have an interest free monthly payment plan. If you were to decide to see them, they will give us a referral discount.
Keri S. replied:
We (Noah, Ella, & myself) go to Dr. Hoagburg and have been extremely happy with the results...and his staff is awesome!! They also do free consults. Location was a big deal for us, as they need to be there about once every 4-6 weeks for check ups/adjustments.
Shannon M. replied:
Angela Becker orthodontics, love them. Three kiddos and David went through braces there.
Tina W. replied:
We use Angela Becker . We love her ! She has a office in ft. Wayne and Huntington. Nice with payment plans too! Free consultation!
Question from a Reader:
How does a travel nurse work about getting braces from an orthodontist if we're constantly moving every 13-16 weeks?
Does anyone have...
Any recommendations or bewares for Orthodontist in SW Fort Wayne?
Lauren D. replied:
I had Dr. Thompson and liked him. But I am biased as my SIL works there and she gave me the coolest colors. I was older, maybe 17 or 18? when I got my braces and only had them a year and a half. I don't feel like he was excessive.
Laurie S. replied:
My son loved Dr. Thompson too. His staff is great.
This is not really a holistic health question, but I was looking to see if anyone had a recommendation for an inexpensive orthodontist?
Sarah B. replied:
Parrish Orthodontics
Kimberly B. replied:
I have never been in a great position financially, but when it comes to orthodontists, you get what you pay for. For my son, we ended up going with Dr Cohen and we are SO GLAD WE DID. He was able to solve my son's TMJ without breaking his jaw (like one other guy suggested), and in a shorter length of time and fewer visits because of the way they do their work, which is computer designed. So there isn't guesswork. Call around and go for visits to different orthos and see which you feel is the best fit for you. Dentists who do orthodontic work are not the same as an orthodontist. There is so much more to what they do than what the teeth look like, and a cheaper Dr will be doing work based on the look more than all of the science that a well-trained orthodontist will be working with. Dr Cohen had a great payment plan that did not involve having to take out a loan and they were great to work with on it. They even divided the payments between my ex-husband and I, and they were one of the only offices in town who were willing to do that. I know I'm not answering your question with a cheap ortho, but I just hope you can find a way to go to a really good one rather than a cheap one. If not, I hope that someone else will have a good suggestion for you. Best wishes!
Who in Fort Wayne has their kid in braces and who is their orthodontist? Our dentist does braces too, but he's kinda expensive. Looking for a more affordable option.
Tonya V. replied:
Check out dr Aaron Dellinger with OSS they support the brats with mouth guards. Maybe you can also get a break??
Question... For those of you with kids who've had orthodontics, how old were they when they started? And any orthodontist recommendations? We live on the north side of...
Jess W. replied:
Do NOT go to Dr. Bussick! This guy was awful! He screwed up my rubber bands while I had braces and gave me an underbite. If that wasn't bad enough, when it was time for my braces to come off he said he wouldn't do it without "my parents' permission". Ummm....if its time for them to come off, why do you need permission?! Ugh. It was a terrible experience.
