Just in case you're not aware, the day after Christmas is Boxing Day which is a holiday celebrated in the Bahamas. Some businesses will be closed and/or have limited hours. The Abaco Forum (www.abacoforum.com) is a great source of information on Abaco and a good place to get answers to any questions you might have. Also, The Abaconian newspaper (http://www.abaconian.com/) is published on line. Midway through is a list of businesses, ferry schedules, etc. that might be helpful. Pete's Pub is a don't miss-after nearly 20 trips to Green Turtle Cay, we finally made it there on a day trip. Loved it and can't wait to go back. If you make a day trip to Green Turtle, there's a golf cart rental place across from the ferry dock in town (Seaside Carts). Call ahead and arrange to rent a cart so you can toodle around the island, access all it's beautiful beaches, have a bite to eat and enjoy a cold one. Have fun planning!

I would definitely plan a trip to Green Turtle Cay for an excursion with Brendal Stevens, Brendals dive center should not be missed! He has a snorkel/dive beach picnic and swim w/ rays. Eco tour to see turtles/ dolphins, and a Nippers Sunday pig roast and trip to Piggyville to see swimming pigs. Green Turtle Cay is a charming place and especially nice at Christmas time
