If Gainesville is too far away from you then I definitely recommend Christine at Foxshire grooming! She is home base and it's a very low stress situation.

Admittedly, I only go there for nail dremels (nail trims are always free and don't require an appointment, but since that's the only service I use them for, I ask for the $5 dremel), but I have several friends who go there for grooming. As far as I can tell from looking at their dogs, they do a great job. The staff is super nice and so patient with my dogs when they get their nails done. The Google reviews are all also extremely good.

Definitely Charlie's Pet Place off of tower road. My dog has a super thick double coat and I just took her there last week (we've been going since March) to get bathed, groomed, and to have all the loose hair from her undercoat removed. It was $60. SO reasonable as she's 65 lbs and is hard for me to bathe on my own let alone get completely groomed. Plus the people who own the business are very knowledgeable and you can tell they care about your pet.

As someone who used to work at PetSmart, there are only two groomers I trust at either locations: Kellie at Millhopper and Kristin at the Archer location. If you're just wanting a trim (which you should only want for that breed) it shouldn't be anymore than 100, if not less. I remember it being around $84 or so. I always heard good things about Earth wise grooming, Charlie's Place Pet Grooming, and Pet Paradise Grooming. I, however, do not know the price points on these. I would go with Charlie's first out of the three.

Contrary to the other comments, I had a poor experience at Charlie's. My dog had a tough time, and they did not seem to do well handling the other dogs there while I waited for them to finish grooming mine. I will offer that I had a much better experience at Nature's Pet Spa (by the Oaks, next to Earth Pets), and they are in your price range.
