I don't know if they do weight lifting, but I really like The Jackson Clinics for physical therapy. I do triathlon and ride horses. They've been excellent about understanding my needs as an athlete. It's worth calling and asking if they have a therapist who could help you.

Dr. Trucksess. The best around here in Reston. She's a non surgical orthopedic and helped me with my back a lot. I can't recommend her enough. http://www.c-o-r.com/phys_trucksess.asp

Try Commonwealth Orthopedics at INOVA Hospital. I have been there a couple times to see doctors, and they are very knowledgeable with sports injuries. I think they have physical therapists there as well that they could get you.

I had very good results with SPARK near Eisenhower. Metro, for a spine/neck injury that kept me off the mats (judo/BJJ) for 6 months. They also go over proper form for lifting based on your specific issues. It was out of network for my insurance so pricey for me, but a better alternative than surgery. I would also check out ART treatments from Full Motion Life and Sport in Falls Church (who takes my insurance so I go there even though it's a hike) or Dr Skopp in Alexandria. I haven't had much success with any of the other PTor ART practitioners in the area and I have been to a lot of them for various things.
