Hey everyone, does anyone know any people or company's locally that do bridal bouquets and flowers for weddings? I would rather use someone locally to make my wedding...
Has anyone noticed less than acceptable service in local florists? By this I mean, if someone goes to a umbrella company (like 1800-flowers) who directs the money spent...

local florists sign up to be used for the internet sales of places like 1-800-Flowers. The umbrella company does a rotation of the the ones that signed up with them. Your order gets sent to the next one in line and that florist fills the order. If a reputable florist filled the order their card will also be on the arrangement most of the time. Flowers Express is the absolute worst. Anyone with a business license can get put in their rotation and be making arrangements on their dining room table. If you are just sending a few pieces, call a local florist. You will get SO much more bang for your buck, you get to actually talk to the florist or someone who really understands what you want and you can give them your CC info right over the phone. If you leave it to their discretion instead of copying a predetermined FTD arrangement you will get a bigger, more lavish arrangement in my experience because the umbrella company isn't getting a cut.
