ladies! Anyone know a good hair salon? Ideally one that's less than €50 for a cut/blowdry. I'm in desperate need of a cut and the last time I got one I wasn't too...

Not for the faint hearted, but I cut my hair here http://www.pihs.be/

Thanks! I ended up going to The Client, near the south. The cut is good, but I had an appointment for 6:00, meaning I had to rush home from my job in Brussels. When I got there, I still had to wait an hour-- no offer of anything to drink or heads-up about the delay. So I think I'll try someplace else next time. The beauty school is a nice idea... I used to go to a beauty school back in the states to get a cut.

http://www.mikehaarateljee.be/content/wie-mike This place is a bit pricey but a really elegant place. I had the impression that the lead stylist really knows what he's doing, although I don't have a difficult hairstyle to cut. He spoke English without any difficulties and the massage chairs at the wash station are a big plus. ;)

Hello dear expats! I was wondering does someone know a good hairdresser that is good with curly hair and not as expensive as some hairdressers can be here? :)

Yesterday, I discovered Golden Sissors, right next to Overpoort (Voetweg 2), and the guy who did my hair (Ramazan) really knew what he was doing, and spoke great English. Wash, cut and blow dry for 23 euro
