Otherwise, we also really like M & T Auto on Sanford right off 28 th Street between Wilson and Ivanrest. Good, honest guys. For our appliances we've used Ron's Appliance in Jenison for 20 years. Family owned, local and honest.

P.S. Depending on what the dryer issue is, when our 2009 $770 washing machine pooped out, we bought a "temporary" 1982 Speed Queen washer with stainless steel drum off Craigslist for $100 and I tell you what... it's working better than the $770 Whirlpool Cabrio ever did! What we thought we would keep to get us by for a few weeks has now been doing the job for us for 3 months! LOL

Dykstra Auto in Hudsonville on sidestreet off Chicago Drive near Hudsonville Winery. When I call ahead I can drop my van off in the morning and get a loaner for the day. The just pick it up on my way home from work. Reasonable and honest.

Port Sheldon Auto..Tell Sharon at the desk, Mike or Cam what you want done. They understand how to keep an older car running well without fixing things that won't matter much. They also understand about budgets.

We've gone to Liberty Muffler lately and been happy with them. We thought they only did oil/muffler, etc. but that repair as well.
