Can anyone recommend internet service? We live about 2 miles past Sun City and it is my understanding that Verizon is our only option, and they are horrible.

Karole Tanner Hollar we called western broadband earlier today. Because of where we are, they couldn't help. But thanks for the recommendation

Stephanie, Edward-Ada Porter here in the thread is with Suddenlink. He's the boss of construction and builds ... If he says Suddenlink is good, he'd be the man that knows. ;)
Omg! I can't take anymore SUDDENLINK shenanigans. I know they have a tight hold on Georgetown but they are ridiculous. I have cut out all of their devices and services...

We use SOS Communications in weir and I have never had any issues with their service or internet. The only time there are ever issues with the internet is if it is storming bad. We have two game consoles, 4 phones, 2 laptops, and 2 tablets on it. I have the highest package they offer which is the gold package and pay $74.50 a month.

Report! Verizon LTE Broadband offers service here, but there is a 20gb maximum data limit for $110 a month, with 2-5mbps upload and 5-12mbps download. Most people not watching Netflix can use this just fine, but the limit might be constricting. Verizon High Speed Internet offers up to 3mbps download according to their website and 768kbps upload maximum. This is pretty slow. Suddenlink Business (what I'm currently using) has 6mbps download, 768k upload, but the speed right now is 3.5mbps down, 500kbps up. We pay $70 a month for that. Western Broadband is DSL which typically is slower than cable or 4G LTE, it has 1mbps download, unsure about upload. I also am not sure what Rob Hipp is offering but supposedly it is faster for less money and it is downtown only.
