Kind of a long shot: any recommendations for cat groomers in the north hills? I've got a long-haired cat with a mat that needs to be removed, and I don't have enough...

I've been in this same position too. My favorite was 3 Dogs and a cat on three degree road, but she closed shop due to illness:( I ended up taking mine to Sandy's Cat grooming in banksville which is annoyingly far away and requires going through the city...that is all I've found so far but I gotta say I just absolutely loved her and she did such a wonderful job and is very passionate about cat grooming. I hate and feel bad for my poor cat to take him so far so I still am looking myself and was just going to look into and ask petco and petsmart if they have cat groomers... so I'll be on the lookout too:) EDIT: out of curiosity for you and I and the other comment, I called sitting pretty and asked if they do cats and they do:) they are booked until the end of February though... but sandy is more available since she is just cats.

Twin Brook on Route 8 in Valencia is a full animal clinic but they do have a groomer on staff and are great with handling cats.

Theres some Place up off Babcock. Has cat or pawsin the name. Like "paws for a minute" or "cat-a-combs" or something corny like that. Sorry for shite memory.

Diamond in the Ruff in the south side used to do a fantastic job on my Himalayan cat.
