Corey is moving to High Point Barbershop on Meadow. If you still want to see him, go there instead.

So i got my hair cut and beard trimmed at parkside today, because i couldnt wait to get an appt at main street (need trimmed beards for my job).
I am never going back to parkside barbers. The guy i got (dont remember his name, bigger black guy with sleeve tats) absolutely butchered my hair and beard.
I told him at the start that the last time i got a cut, it was too short and took 2 week's growth before i was happy with it. So what's he do? Cut it shorter than I've ever had it since moving past a buzz cut.
That makes 4 cuts at parkside I've been very unhappy with. Corey's a good barber, but always cuts too short for my personal tastes, and im happy with it after a week or so, but this? Im legitimately pissed off. This is gonna be at least a month of growth on my hair and 2 on my beard before its the fucking length i asked for.
And whats the point of complaining to the store? They cant put my hair back, they cant fix it.. i simply won't be going back, and i wont recommend it to anyone.
I've a few good friends who recommend Main Street, ill try there in 2 or 3 months, when i need a cut again.

Corey recently told me he is moving over to High Point in the city. Contact them to get an appointment with him I assume. I don't know if he's started or not yet.

I get mine cut at [Main Street Barber and Mercantile](https://plus.google.com/113757035655463938322/about?gl=us&hl=en). Best barber shop I've ever been to. The barbers are all great, the place is pet friendly, and they'll even pour you a cup of coffee while you wait. They're located in the Fan however, which may not work depending on where you live or how far you're willing to drive.

Corey's a helluva barber. I've had him cut my hair for a couple of years; he would cut my hair in his garage before he got a real time gig. I recommend him to many of my friends.

Lots of people jumping ship over there.. I lost my barber from there a while ago and had to switch.

I can't believe this. I wonder when they're going to call all the people that have appointments with him. I have an appointment scheduled with him July 27 th. If I wasn't a redditor I would never have known. Also I'm not looking for barber recommendations for the West End! Anyone know someone that knows what a modern hair cut looks like?

I was a long time Parkside customer but it seems like things have really gone down hill since they moved locations. Ive been going to Christina at Cut Back Barbershop (ex Parkside) and been very pleased. She has a booth over in Sola Salons. See http://www.cutbackbarbershop.com/ for her contact info. Never have to wait for an appointment. Julius from Parkside just moved over to Sola Salons also. He's right across the hall from Christina but don't know his contact info.
