Hello friends, I am looking for a nearby chiropractor, preferably one who takes Aetna. Any suggestions?

Doctors Taber and 197 and 450 in Bowie are superb! Husband and wife team. Been going to them for over 6 years. Lower back made me almost a cripple. I go monthly and no more problems. http://taberchiropractic.com/about-us/meet-the-doctor.html

I can recommend Bezak Chiropractors. I think they take most insurance.

We go to and love Dr Pantazis.

Another vote for Dr. Pantazis of Cheverly Chiropractic. I know she takes a lot of insurance, call and see if she takes Aetna.

Trisha L. replied:
Dr. Pantazis is wonderful. There are lots of people from Greenbelt who would recommend her, as her name always come up when someone asks for a recommendation. Her staff is very nice as well and they have pretty flexible hours (some evenings and usually every other Saturday.)
Cathy F. replied:
David Fishkin, Fishkin Back and Body Wellness in Calverton, love him.http://fishkincenter.com/fishkinbackandbody/
Bob R. replied:
Ella Pantazis in Glenn Dale. Only chiropractor to make Top Docs of DC. (301) 464-5813. She has long Wednesday hours and every other Saturday. Also only D.C., I've ever known to get referrals from orthopedists. Her practice is called Cheverly Chiropractic CAre from when she used to be based there. Now Ella is right off 193 just past 450 and near 197 at its start. 20 minutes max from Old Greenbelt.
Can anyone recommend a nearby chiropractor who uses more gentle modalities than the standard "bone cracking"?
Little C. replied:
Dr Pantazis in Glenn Dale is phenomenal!
Kathie J. replied:
I also vote for Drs. Leslie & Michael Windman. I rely on them to keep me straight! With spinal stenosis, that's more important than ever.
Maryanne E. replied:
I'm a big fan of Block Chiropractic
Pamela G. replied:
I like the folks at Terrapin Chiropractic near REI. I use a long time friend in Dunkirk, but there is a woman there who I'd consider using, and have observed as I'm in therapy there for knees..they are no frills, basic and stay very busy.
Bob R. replied:

Karen Y. replied:
Dr. P also uses other methods. She is great with trigger points and also does dry needling.
Janet M. replied:
Ella Pantazis is a miracle worker.
Matt E. replied:
As I said, I was relating my experience with Dr. Pantazis. Apparently what she thought I needed was some heat and IR treatment followed by bone cracking. However, the last time she did that on me I felt lucky my neck wasn't broken. Obviously I didn't go back.
