The Great British Florist. Not local but they are are British grown, seasonal flowers. Suit any budget- I just had bridesmaids posy, plus buttonholes and a box of flowers to arrange ourselves. Great service.

Kirstie Derbyshire did my flowers for my autumn wedding and they were stunning and so reasonable. not sure if you're still doing floristry though Kirstie so apologies if not.xx
I've just noticed a Twig coffee shop sign on the old florist shop on Station Rd, do we really need another cafe

Planning Law is a little more complicated than just grabbing the rates (That goes to the government not the council). The Council needs a good and sound planning reason to refuse an application for a takeaway. I would refuse applications that are on the corner of traffic lights and other dangerous areas where the delivery drivers seem to have a right to park whenever it suits them. If an application is refused, the applicant will go to appeal and will probably win especially as a precedent has already been set elsewhere.
Hoping someone out there can help me reunite a flower delivery to the rightful owner. Does anyone know a Josh & Hayley with son Jack and new arrival baby Molly around...
