I would also recommend Natural Instinct or Nutriment. Both essentially the same thing and ideal for allergies. Personally I wouldn't feed any sort if dry food on its own to a cat with allergies. James Wellbeloved changed formula a few years ago and my cat started having terrible squits on it.

A good transition is from grain free kibble to canned/soft to raw. Catinfo.org is a fantastic website to get you started!
