I go to Damian Anthes for all my issues. Not sure about landlord tenant issues but it's worth a shot.

the clinic at the MSU law school, noted above, might be good...and their link is http://www.law.msu.edu/clinics/rhc/index.html not sure if they remain open during spring break though...the resolution services center mentioned might be good too, if you are quite poor there is also a possibility that legal aid in the area could help--though sometimes they only get to step in if an actual eviction is looming...find more about them here: http://www.michiganlegalaid.org/Organizations/legal_services_of_south_central_michigan__lansing_office/organization_view

We used Fosters and Swift... Doug Meilock and Brent Titus. Brent goes above all expectations when dealing with real-estate and property. Our's was a bit complicated and about $500 a hour. If your case is more simplistic, you may find another attorney that is more economical.

There may be legal services in the area if you meet the income requirements. Also i believe if you research, instructions and printable documents are online. I did this in a paralegal class, so you dont need to be an attorney to do it. Heres a link for starters http://info.legalzoom.com/write-michigan-3992.html It states to consult an attorney to ensure your will is valid. Not sure how much they charge just for that, but probably less than doing the whole thing. Though id try to see if Legal Aid would look at it. Heres the legal aid link http://www.legalaidwestmich.org/library_client/resource.2005-07-06.5500271206/document.2005-05-13.3268976787

My grandparents went through Rosemary Buhl with Buhl, Little, Lynwood, and Harris when they were rewriting wills and setting up a trust and estate planning, and she was amazing! She was so friendly and so willing to answer any of their questions along the way, I would 110% recommend her. It is a bit of a drive, their office is located off of Abbot Rd in East Lansing, but it was well worth the drive.
