I second Lansing Ophthalmology, Grand Ledge Office. They have other offices as well. My husband has gone to Dr. Wilhelm (Lake Lansing Rd.) for years and has had multiple issues due to diabetes, glaucoma, cataracts, etc. and had excellent care.

Dr. Rule is a very good Optomitrist, but not and Ophthalmologist (M.D.) if I recall. With you history, I would highly suggest an M.D. (Ophthalmologist).

H D Optometry on Cedar St in Lansing Dr Dan Nash is amazing he takes care of our entire family. Even our son who is a brain cancer survivor and has many issues with his eyes due to his cancer.

I have diabetes and found a really amazing eye dr at America's Best up by the Pier One off Marketplace Drive. He is very good at monitoring my vision changes. I actually bought their $79 plan and don't even use my eye care insurance. It ends up being cheaper for me because the plan includes unlimited follow up visits for me. Check them out. I went to Lansing Ophthamology for years but really like this dr better.
