There is a Youtube video by Eric Williams I believe that is called "The Parade of History" and it features a Memorial Day parade circa 1965 ( Diamonds Are Forever" was the movie on the marquee at the Metro shows a lot of the first two blocks of East Bl ackhawk Avenue from the south side of the street there are glimpses of the Lyons tavern when the person taking the home movies up across from the old Peoples State Bank. In front of what was Farrells Drug store as I remember from the late 70's - early eighties when I was a youngster.

Thanks. Eric is my cousin and most of my reference photos I have are from my Uncle Griff's grainy Super 8 films. He tended to shoot from two locations. Farrell's drug store and the Todd Shop, so, I am pretty good for some of the buildings, but, still don't have certain sides of the street. Also, I have Ms Stemper's book which I have used some.
