Does anyone know of any emergency vet help or assistance? My son found a kitten literally in the gutter by sizzler, & its obviously sick, and I cannot afford a vet bill....

So sorry. There is an emergency vet in grand terrace but don't know if you will run into same issue. 909-825-9350.

@Amber Mills: Can you give me an update on the kitten? Although the Shelter is closed to the public on Sunday and Monday, there is someone there that I can get in touch with. Call me or text 951 817-9170. Keep in mind though the Vet will do what they can but if he/she is really sick and not adoptable, it may get euthanized. Sorry.
Best vet in the San Bernardino area? I got a new puppy and I was wondering what's a good vet to take her to for shots and everything else? I took my other dog to...

We've taken several pets to the [Loma Linda Animal Hospital](http://llah.vet/) over the years. Always professional, never had any complaints.

Advanced pet care was really disappointing when we rescued ours from the shelter. The shelter required she get spayed at that location and we could pick her up there. They also “gave her tick medication and a flea/tick bath and removed any ticks they could find.” Except when we got home we then pulled over 100 ticks off her. I wish that was an exaggeration but we lost count at that point. There was even a giant one directly over her eye. I can’t believe they missed that one especially. In her shelter photo we had thought it was a skin tag- it was that prominent. I get that it could have been an off day, but in that case why emphasize to us how you took all the ticks you could find off of her?
I know it’s partially the shelter being over filled and under staffed that she even had that many ticks but....
In any case, I just don’t trust a vet that can miss that many REALLY obvious ticks to be paying too much attention to the dogs.

The Rialto Animal Hospital off of the 210 and Ayala. It's supposedly one of the best in the area. They very courteous and will always do follow up calls. We always run into people that travel from pretty far to bring their pets here.

We’ve taken our pets to Dr. Butchko for 20+ years. Always great care, very low prices. The only downside is they sometimes there is a longish wait. It’s off of Rubidoux below the 60 freeway. Not the prettiest building haha. It’s the only vet my family trusts and I’ve gone to quite a few other vets when my dog was really sick. Dr.Butchko was the only one that got her diagnosis correct and told me which specialist to go to.

Animal Care Wellness Center. http://animalcarewellness.com I took my dog there for years, they performed surgery to remove a cyst and even treated his arthritis in his hips as he got older. Everyone there was always really nice and caring, especially towards the end when he was having lots of trouble.
