I've used United Heating and Cooling a number of times. They've always done a great job for my issues: snaking main drain line, adding a 't' to an existing cast iron drain for a bathroom addition, and they installed my new furnace and ac unit.

I learned everything from my Dad and we still work together while he is still able. Both of us are licensed master plumbers and take pride in the work we do for our customers. Like another post here, we aren't the cheapest and most definitely not the most expensive, I've heard horror stories from the big shops in this city that have no compassion for people out there who may or may not be struggling. Tope Plumbing here in OP is who we are (there's a .net in STL:D) and I wouldn't normally post something like this but I figured I may as well. Reviews and word of mouth speak for itself with our customers. Getting in and taking money from a customer for no reason and selling them things they don't need is something I'm adamantly against. If it's working don't touch it sorta thing:D (to an extent).

I have used Morgan Miller several times http://www.morganmillerplumbing.com/ While not cheap, I don't think their prices were out of line and they did a great job. I used them for several things. Fixed a leaky pipe connection in the basement, extended fridge water lines, checked out and brought up to code a gas line for the grill on my deck.

I haven't had Roto Rooter in years. I had to have them out to clean out my drains but I had to call them back about 2X a year. Done with that. Called someone else but that was years ago.

Before we cut our old trees down, I would have to auger ours out about every six months. I always rented it from Borgmeyer Rentals at Blue Ridge and Longview Road. They have a hundred foot electric auger for (I think) $60 for three hours. Do you know if/where you have a cleanout access? I can help Rex if he wants.
