Before you repair, you might want to look at replacing it if it is old....just saying. I upgraded my unit 2 years ago....paid for it self since then by lowering my electric bill to about $135 a month vs $275 a month with the old unit. Call Ewing Electric and let him see what you have....and whether you should upgrade. 972-693-2343. When I was shopping for an AC unit, he was the ONLY one out of half a dozen that took the time to see what I really needed. Everyone else just quoted me a price based on what I "thought" I needed. Glad he showed me a better way. We stay comfortable year round...and run the AC at 72 degrees throughout the summer.
