The Joshua Wilton House in Harrisonburg is really nice and owned by a chef. There is a great restaurant on the first floor. Just got back from a stay in the honeymoon suite.

House Mountain Inn in Lexington, VA (not too far for VMI). Nice hiking trail. Gerd and I had a nice gourmet picnic basket prepared by the chef with a nice bottle of wine during our hike...very romantic but I still don't know how we made it back...lol

Mellow Mushroom and Boston's also have GF pizza. Ditto 5 Guys for hamburgers and their fries (since that's all they have in the fryers). Chick Fil A fries are also ok because they have a separate fryer (and we get grilled chicken strip for Kayla's kid's meal... or the chicken salad in a cup.)
