Looking for a good Greek restaurant Hey everyone.
I moved to Everett about a month and a half ago from down South a couple hours. I was wondering if there was any good...

Best Greek restaurant I know of just outside Everett is Kosta's in Mukilteo. It's not just Greek though, they tout themselves as Mediterranean and have several dishes that lean Italian.

There's not really any Greek restaurants in the area anymore. There are Greek Italian restaurants, but that's probably not what you're looking for. Mexican food depends on what type of Mexican food you're looking for. Ana's Casita inside the 76 near Evergreen and 41dt is great for lunch. Raliberto's on 128th is San Diego style. Tacobook on Broadway is new and popular. The El Rey taco truck on the Reservation is also very good. El Sabor de Chihuahua on Hardeson has a great Taco Tuesday. El Pastor on Beverly and Casino has their pork on a rotating spit much like a gyro store. Casa El Dorado on Casino across from Fred Meyer sells really good tortillas, including warm corn ones, and makes good food as well, especially wet burritos, muendo, and pozole. I think they serve beer as well.

For a quick Mexican meal and beer I have to recommend el sabor de chihuahua. Super bomb and cheap.

My folks used to visit Double D Meats in Mountlake Terrace -- you might want to check them out.

For a good butcher, I recommend Double D Meats. They have a great selection of steaks plus some less common meats as well such as rabbit. They also have a gazillion hot sauces and barbeque sauces if you're into that sort of thing.

Gyro House Cafe is the #1 "gyro" and shawarma place in the area. I have visited probably 40 - 50 places between Vancouver BC and Portland Oregon and this place is pretty freaking awesome. I have eaten them from all over the world from German street pork "gyros" to what some consider the real deal on the streets of Isreal so I am no stranger to variations and new takes on what is probably my favorite dish. They serve whole chunks of meat which is great if you are looking for lamb. No pressed/shaped meat from this place. IF you are looking for shaved EURO style of gyro's... well look outside of the pacific northwest since no place really emulates that style of sandwich.

Check out Silvana meats. Their chorizo is awesome.

there were two great greek restaurants but they both closed. the only one i know of is cafe neo but its kinda fast foodish. i think its great though. i love their spanakopita. though i have very little experience with greek food. as for mexican, the taco trucks are the best for tacos and tortas. memos on 99 is pretty authentic and really good. el paradiso, la palmera, those are white mexican, not traditional, if thats what you are looking for. a great butcher is double dd meats in mount lake terrace.

If you want authentic Mexican food, try Ade's Mexican Deli. https://www.yelp.com/biz/ades-mexican-deli-everett

Kate’s is a great greek breakfast place. Neo in Mill Creek is very good.
francisb85 replied:
Kafe neo in Mill Creek is alright for Greek and offers a full bar. As far as Mexican goes it's all pretty good but none of it is "real mexican" besides perhaps the taco trucks. If you're already in silver lake check out Central market for groceries/butcher though double d meats is better.

would acropolis on 4 th and 128 th count? they serve mostly italian-style items, but i recall seeing some greek food on the menu. edit: just checked their site; gyros and greek salad seem to be their only greek items. still the food looks damn good! http://www.acropolispizzaandpasta.com/

Gyros Plus has some great gyros and gyro fries (yes, you read that correctly - they are pretty amazing). I think they are Lebanese but it's just as good as any gyro from a Greek restaurant (hard admitting that being 1/2 Greek). I used to get it delivered but the dude got lost or something one time and it took 2 hours.

El Paraiso is great. There's also Taco Faenas with a drive through (and tables) across the street from El Paraiso but I haven't eaten there recently enough to comment (I think it's fast-foody but decent). If you need Mexican food in the middle of the night or on the go, there's a Memo's with a drive through (and tables) open 24/7 on Evergreen near Madison. It's like the McDonalds of Mexican: simple, sloppy, and delicious. And of course there are tons of great Mexican restaurants all over the greater Everett area. I can't tell you anything about them because I'm vegetarian but there's a butcher in Silvana. It's a nice drive into the country. http://silvanameats.com/ Kate's Greek and American restaurant in Everett - I love their breakfast food but I haven't ever ordered any of their Greek: https://www.katesgreekandamerican.com/ If you like Italian, Silver Lake Pizza and Pasta delivers to Silver Lake: http://www.silverlakepizzaandpasta.com/
