Whats wrong with La Posada - Posada Java? That's a real coffee place, even has an outdoor patio. Great place to sit and chat. Too bad Starbucks doesn't have a real cafe in the area. Cayley Cakes is nice too - not much to look at outside though. Are you thinking more along the lines of Denny's? Their coffee is actually pretty decent.

The Tubac Deli on Plaza Rd is very nice, good coffee, fantastic fresh pastry, cozy spot with an outdoor patio

Brewd - A Coffe Lounge on Sabino Canyon Road is a locally owned shop and a wonderful place. They have all kinds of coffees and teas as well as pastries and light sandwiches. They do all kinds of activities, for example they have been showing The PolarExpress and are looking into having "coffee tasting" evenings. There are always games sitting around to play. Like them on Facebook to keep up with their info and activities!
