I had a good cut at Bubbles in Bowie, and a horrific cut at Bubbles in Wheaton. After the horrific cut, I've been seeing the same girl (Stephanie) at Looks Salon and Spa in Columbia.

If you are interested in going to a bit more of a hip hair place, Bang Salon in DC has great and affordable stylists. There is a salon on U street (right on the green line), and I go to their Salon near Navy Yard and see Jessica. Good luck with your stylist search!

I go to Tam Bui at Hair Cuttery at Greenway Center lately, after a recommendation from one of these Greenbelt lists, and she's worked out very well for me, and much cheaper than where I used to go. She does make appointments.
