When we were going to build, we liked Wayne Homes the best. Realtor.com is a great place to look for lots-it’s the most up to date.

I built with Parry Custom Homes and am very satisfied with the house! Even now a couple of years later I have referred people there over other builders and the finished product is better and so is the price! Beware the cheaper house cost where you'll then get nickel and dimed to death on everything else. If the cost doesn't include the house excavation, backfill, basic drains, etc that is a red flag! Here's some other advice: Find your own lot on your own terms, and go into a builder on your own (unless someone really did discuss them at length for you). That help maximize your savings on both sides. Good luck!

Maxwell Elementary in Hempfield has a super reputation. A couple of years ago it was rated the number one school (not just elementary) out of 100 best in SW Pa. it's worth checking out.

The French Tudor is a vintage style that has been replaced with the French Manor. I think you will have a hard time finding it on a builder's current website. Suncrest Homes and Decease in Murrysville use to build the French Tudor and I'm sure they both could if a client wanted that style.
