Dr. Hickman is who I have heard good things about. Caleb is going to Dr. Judy and really likes him. I personally am very happy to use schools for some things ( example cosmetology school for a hair cut) but wouldn't be comfortable with the dental school...though I know many folks are.

We've used Dr. Darbro there off of 135 and Fry Rd. Somewhere near there. He did Syd's expander and we'll be going there soon so Whit can have her braces put on. He's wonderful with the kids as is his whole office. Not sure if he's expensive or not....I have yet to get the quote for the braces.

All 4 of my boys go to IU Dental School for cleanings & regular dental care. O looked into ortho there as well. They have a good program BUT due to the frequent appointments, we Martin Orthodontics in Franklin. He's great and offers a payment plan and even broke Dakota's treatment into segments and it helped financially! Good luck!

Tanya Whitlow chase had all four wisdom teeth out last yr. we used Aspen Dental -by Starbucks and Panda Express on 135 - they did a great job. They had payment options..no interest...too. (Btw it was way more traumatizing for the mom than the boy:))

We use Dr. Ripley. All consultations/visits are free unless braces etc. are needed. Our dentist highly recommended, several I work with have used him and I really love the office!
