Does anyone remember the name of the mexican restaurant owned by the Ibarras? The Ibarras went to SMW and one son graduated in 1966.

Dianne Used to really like going to The House Of Toy on the Plaza - probably my first experience with non-American food.
Christine T. replied:
We ate at The House of Toy frequently, it is where my love of cantonese cuisine began. It was always my choice for birthday dinner.
Michael W. replied:
They had a place on Metcalf at 79 th on the northeast corner where IHOP built and then moved to Elmhurst. Torreon is still in operation. Ibarra's Torreon Mexican Restaurant - 9129 Elmhurst Dr, 648-9582 - Anthony (Tony) & Gus were SMW students.
Joe H. replied:
I know Jerry Ibarra. I've played golf with him many times at Falcon Valley Golf Course. I believe his sister runs Torreon. I think Jerry works there once or twice a week to help out.
Need to know your favorite Cameron Mitchell restaurant here in CBus! And why!?!?!
Ready go!

American Bistro on 161 in Linworth. Can't beat the atmosphere of the original.
Alex S. replied:
The Pearl. Best Bloody Mary's!

Apparently no one has the correct answer yet Bryan Mulvany, seeing no mentioned The Barn, because they haven't dined there yet! It is elegance that meets the best food in the Midwest! It just opened in September and it's the newest Cameron Mitchell restaurant!
