I can't say enough good things about him....although I hope I don't have to visit him anytime soon, if you know what I mean.

Whenever i go in for my annual check-up she spends, no lie, at least 45 minutes with me each time and that's AFTER the nurse has done all her stuff. I need to find a naturopath doctor - and one who isn't a quack or out to make money by insisting that his or her line of products must be used in order for me to be...
Alice W. replied:
Dr Dan is great. I had chronic knee pain that the orthopedic doctor said was arthritis and they sent me for prolonged physical therapy. I went to Dr Dan because a friend recommended him. He diagnosed me with a low grade infection. He did put me on traditional antibiotics and within a week my pain was gone. I have been pain green for 2 years!

I work in Salisbury and everyone I meet tells me about their miraculous experiences with Dr. Dan. I haven't been to him yet myself, but I will, for sure!
Danelle G. replied:
Regarding Dr. Dan - is that his actual name, or is "Dan" his first name, with a different last name? My condition is dyshidrosis, also called dyshidrotic eczema, and I've gotten no relief or help for it from either my dermatologist or allergist, so am getting desperate. My one experience (last fall) with a naturopath left a bad taste in my mouth - he did some weird thing called kinesiology on me which, to me, felt very fake, and his planned treatment regimen involved my taking loads of special supplements - only available, of course, from him (no other brand would do). But the advice about Dr. Dan makes me very hopeful!
Danelle G. replied:
Nancy Webster, is the water softener you put in your shower, a chemical application, or a fixture, or ...?

A second for Dr. Kersten
Kristine N. replied:
Love, Love, LOVE Children's Healthcare! We see Dr Chirlin (Dr Bob). He has a great sense of humor, and performs magic tricks to ease his patients. More importantly, the whole practice values the knowledge and wisdom of the parents, and lets you have final say in any treatments and interventions. They understand that we know our children best, and that in this digital age, most of us are well-informed - they do not have a "God Complex." Also, they have a patient advocate on staff that can help you - especially helpful if you have a child with special needs. They have offices in Newburyport and Haverhill.
Looking for recommendations for a physician to treat diabetes and its effects for a senior person - either North Shore or in Boston. Anyone know of a specialist?
