Kaye H. replied:
We have been here almost 7 years. Before moving here, my husband had heart surgery. Since here, Dr Bunch at Cardiology Associates has taken care of him and we believe has his best interest at heart.
Darlene A. replied:
We moved her 4 years ago and my husband sees Dr. Trotter at Cardiology Associates we think he is Awesome and he listens and seems very concerned about my husbands health. But I think all the docs at Cardiology Associates is great we just prefer Dr.Trotter he is the BEST!!! (to us)
Carol C. replied:
I think we are blessed in Foley to have Cardiology Associates. They have a great reputation and are highly respected. I think which ever doctor you go to will be good. My husband has Parkinson's disease and was in the hospital and of course they always do EKG's and Dr. Trotter came to see him in the hospital and suggested a follow up appointment with their office just to establish a patient relationship with the group. We did that and Dr. Trotter was honest and said you do not have a heart issue and we have baseline information on you so no need for a follow up appointment. We go to UAB for his Parkinson's and his primary physician (and mine) is Dr. Billy August in Foley. He has been a doctor for many years and is just as easy to talk to as your next door neighbor. He doesn't have a problem with his patients going to specialists, but does want to be kept in the loop on all visits to other doctors. I like that because he knows any meds that you are taking and if there might be a problem with co-mixing meds. All in all - we are fortunate in this area to have so many good choices. We go to Carl Klein, DDS for dental and is a wonderful, kind, and good dentist.
Sounds good. Dr Trimmier is a female ;) I really like her.
Candi C. replied:

Who is your favorite GP , Internal Med Dr in the area? Need someone who is above average in figuring out /digging to find source of problems rather than just throw out...
Teresa L. replied:
Dr. Sandra Alexander in Foley. She has a nurse practioner, Karianne who is awesome! Karianne figured out a problem with my father in law that no one else could for 10 years! I think her practice is called Gulf Coast Medical. She is also a skin specialist.:) if you can't get in with Alexander ask for Karianne!
Daphne B. replied:
I go to darling Dr Laura Thompson in Daphne. Young, up to date, extremely empathetic, efficient. If she doesn't know she sends you to the appropriate specialist to find out. She does not guess, or start prescribing before you've finished talking. And she runs late by the afternoon because she let's everone have their say, and she actively listens. Also if you don't want to go to Daphne, Dr. Jeanne Birkenhauer in Gulf Shores is super.
