Hopefully you don't have what the insurance company claim a vicious dog. We have a German Shepard and our rates jacked up $600 a year. Total BS, I have less a chance of filing a claim for being robbed than someone that doesn't have a dog guarding their home. Now we've had German Shepards for 20 years and last year was the first time they jacked us up for it. Again total bs IMO

Ha, I had two pit bulls, I only have one now. I could not get homeowners insurance. I did get it from Liberty Mutual. They never asked me if I had a dog at all. It has been 12 years with my pits and never a claim.... Trees in Medford have caused claims but not my dogs... LOL... Ps. It was the Braddock Agency they gave me the worst time... they would insure but for 2300.00 per year... see ya..
