Mississauga Emergency. They saved my cat’s life.
Yvonne P. replied:
Either university of Guelph or the emergency/referral vet clinic that boarders Oakville and Mississauga. Both were amazing for our two boys. The specialists at the Emergency/referral hospital are connected with Guelph vet hospital and often work there with the students and you always get the students who are in their last year, Not first year students .
Cathy V. replied:
I go to Brookville vet. They are very good.

I took in a stray today who has fleas. She was treated with Capstar and Advantage before she entered my home.. but I'm still paranoid and would like to treat my own cats...
You can buy Advantage at Chedoke Animal Hospital (as long as you know the cat's weights). Do NOT use Advantix on cats (it will kill them). Zodiak and Hartz are just a waste of your money.
Can anyone recommend a good vet asap for a second opinion? Message me contact info please. Thanks.

Foster is expensive, but convenient. Eastside PetVet (mentioned above) is AMAZING! Used them for all four of the fur-babies I've had, as well as been there with my in-laws pets. Good luck on choosing one that's best for you, and CONGRATS on the new puppy!

Another option is applying for Care Credit or Medi-Card (Pet Card). They are credit cards that may be used at most vet clinics. The interest rate is a bit high but some offer interest free for a certain amount of time.

Kohler Pharmacy on James St N across from Jackson Square. Need to tell them your dog's weight. They have a license and an specially trained person to dispense medicine for animals and have a vet they can call to come see your animal at home. And they are cheaper then the vets office.
