Where are you looking? That makes a huge difference. A good real estate agent IMO needs to know the area better than anyone else and can show things before they come on the market. Anyone can be friendly and make you feel good.

Billy Weathers is VERY good. Nice guy, lot of experience. I'm in the midst of my first home buying experience and he's been incredibly helpful.

I just purchased my first home a few months ago here in downtown. I cannot say enough good things about Elaine Collins, she is a property manager/real-estate agent and extremely professional. She has tons of experience, and had the heads up on the home I ended up purchasing before it even hit the market! I highly recommend her. Vicki Trapp with Crye Leike was extremely patient and helpful and even turned us away from houses she knew would be no good for us, even though it pushed our search time/her commission out a few months. I would recommend her to any friend, family or stranger. She's also pretty funny.

Stacy Cooper with Keller Williams. She just recently helped us as first time home buyers and she made the entire process go smoothly. Highly recommend!

Calvin Shropshire & Jessica Pierard w/ Keller Williams have been amazing. We have a small budget, a specific area we want to live in, and it's been hard finding anything that fits our needs in today's market. They have been endlessly helpful and patient!

Bjorn White was VERY good. Young guy (30 something) and knew how to get in line with what we were after. We dropped 2 others because they had no clue and kept showing us stuff we immediately said no to.

Doug and Sherry Lawrence are absolutely amazing. They truly enjoy working in real estate and it makes working with them a delight. Very knowledgable, very well connected, very responsive and all around great people. I can't recommend them enough.

I would definitely recommend Mike Chauncey. We were second time home buyers and he made the processes amazingly smooth. 10/10. He'd be great for a first time home buyer to help you through the steps.

I've had a lot of business experience dealing with Ali Robinson with Keller Williams. She wasn't my agent when I bought my first house, but I really wish she was....She's a much better listener than my last agent. https://g.co/kgs/ttw6KF (

My family has used Laray Gardner several times over the past. She will go along with whatever you like, but she will give you her honest opinion if you ask her. She has been an agent for quite awhile so she is seasoned and if you need work done to your house she can source that too. http://laraygardner.homesandland.com
