Hey NH FOLKS! We have an adopter looking for a good vet on the coast, Portsmouth, Hampton area. Do you all have any suggestions for her??

My friend Michelle Chaisson Flynn in Portsmouth says Jim Robertson at the Pet Clinic of Portsmouth is the BEST!! 319-8142 is the number.... highly recommended....

My co-worker brings her dogs here and has nothing but the best things to say. She likes the mix of eastern and western medicine. One of her dogs had seizures and that was what first attracted her to this practice. They do acupuncture and some alternative medicine - no drugs and he has never been more comfortable and seems truly happy now (and no seizures!) :) http://www.healthandwellnessanimalhosp.com/ Health & Wellness Animal Hospital - Hampton Falls, NH www.healthandwellnessanimalhosp.com Health & Wellness Animal Hospital provides high quality veterinary care that com...bines traditional and holistic medicine to keep pets healthy and happy.See More

P.S. We go to Dr. Robertson on Islington in Portsmouth and he's great. Not the type to pressure pet parents into things and very easy to ask questions and have a discussion with about my pets' healthcare.

We had a terrible experience with Amesbury Animal Hospital (dog was misdiagnosed and it led to her death) and after trying a few vets in the area & asking around, the #1 recommendation we got was Dr Shankin at Newburyport veterinary (177 Storey Ave). He's great and his annual visit cost $100 less than our previous vet in Salisbury.
