Good Playa del Carmen rental agency? The person in charge of getting us a minivan in Playa a week from today procrastinated and now our favorite agency (Isis) has none...

I have friends that have had great luck with Blueway Car rental. I used them and their office is very close to the ferry, http://bluewaycarrental.com/

Blueway was great, but they closed in Playa. I always use Fox Rentacar now. For the best deal, make your reservation online and then call them to make arrangements for free pick up at the pier. www.foxrentacar.com

Mark Stevens why not take an early morning bus to Valladolid, get a room or two, and then take in a couple of ruins and a cenote or 2 on a tour..., you will not have to drive and everyone can site see!
Mark S. replied:
I'll have my 80 year-old parents with me. They have trouble just with the ADO bus from the airport. We already have reservations for Mayan Bungalows at the Mayaland. There are several places we like to stop on the way there and the way back, so strong preference for driving ourselves.
Mark S. replied:
Right. Rentadora Isis is the agency I always use in Playa del Carmen *when they have vehicles*. My problem is that Edgar not only has no minivans right now, he barely has any cars. So, as noted, Isis is out and I need to find another agency.
