AO'B back from my chores... Should have a look at Frogatt/Curbar edge. Grindlefors Café is infamous in the area, the man who used to own it was notorious for his notices 'Ask me for veg and I'll ask you to leave' type of thing, very popular with outside types (think son owns it now). The Chequers Inn under Froggat edge does good pub food. Then there is Mam Tor and Castleton - loads great pups and walking & MTBing, and I like approaching it all from Edale as well.... not really narrowing down your options am I !!!

There's too much to do around here to cram into one post! But for good coffee and a hearty breakfast you should definitely come and see us, plus you can have a chat to any of our resident experts on the shop floor for local advice on crags, runs, rides, scrambles and walks. And pubs. Oh and https://www.facebook.com/HathersageSwimmingPool is well worth a visit for a swim!

Why not ride this hilly challenge in September - the toughest 50 miles in the UK? http://www.sheffrec-cc.org.uk/charity_ride/strines_challenge.html
