I've been to 98 Tire in Oak Grove for numerous things. Got a new alternator there a month or so ago. The owner is honest and reasonable- if he can fix it, he'll do so efficiently and reasonably priced. If he can't, he'll refer you to someone who can. I've also been to Phillips Car Care for some work with my previous car. It was a heap, but they kept it together and running much longer than expected haha.

I usually go to University Tire on 40 th. They've been good to me. Also ask Larry. I hear he actually knows a thing or two about cars.

My choice is an out of the way place in Petal called Brian's Auto. His rates are reasonable and he was very good at tracking down a mysterious problem on my minivan. I'll message you his number.
John L. replied:
University Tire is just the name. They do everything. I've never bought tires from them. LOL
