Potomac Bakery in Dormont, And there's 2 on Brookline Blvd Party Cake and the old Kribels cant remember the new name! There's also a bakery in Mt Washington on Shilo St

You can blame Giant Eagle for the demise of Pittsburgh's many wonderful neighborhood and downtown bakeries. They drove them all out of business. No matter where you live, a trip to Oakmont Bakery is worthwhile - there's no other bakery that can match it. They have a nice little cafe too.

Don't forget Patty Cake in Bloomfield. The raising filled cookies were at Jenny Lee, perhaps?

The closest GREAT bakery to downtown is Paddy Cake in Bloomfield. It's on Liberty Avenue and is an old-fashioned bakery.

Dunkin Doughnut has a great bakery.I love it in there too.Its a must try.

Schorr Bakery is another favorite. There are 2. One in West View and the other is on Perrysville Ave near Perry High School.
