Massage recommendations? Need a solid massage and am tired of flakey Asian places, great one time than crappy the next. I need a strong massage so usually prefer a dude...

Graton Casino has the best massage I've had anywhere in Sonoma County. We usually go to The Best Day Spa (Piner/Marlow), but I had a gift certificate for Graton and it was amazing. Their facilities with the giant jacuzzi, the steam room, sauana, and cold room, were just awesome. The massage itself was top-notch. It feels like being at a resort in Palm Springs or Las Vegas.

My gym in Petaluma (Synergy) has massages. Not sure about quality, but the gym is great. Might cost more for non-members though.

If you haven't tried Thai-style massage yet, it could be what you're after. I went for a session at Syy's Massage in SR after reading online reviews. She really worked me over, but she is unable to handle large, heavy clients. A downside was that she couldn't loosen up the stiffness on one side of my back. I had told her that my alignment was off on the other side, which may have been the reason. I later got an inversion table that loosened it up. It also says it helps with alignment issues.
