Try calling Dr. Ivan Fleishman's office here in Deland. He diagnosed my son years ago and he was great. I don't know if his office does therapy but I'm sure they can recommend someone close. BTW, when my son didn't want to take Ritalin anymore he had a very difficult time because it had helped him so much. He was in high school at the time and too old for me to force him to take it anymore. I wish he had stuck with it. There is nothing wrong with taking medication for ADHD, many kids suffer more from feeling abnormal and different from the other kids because their behavior is so erratic. Just something to think about.

I've read many research studies that claims Fish Oil helps with ADHD in children. Research would be need to done to find out the appropriate amount to take. Talk with a Holistic dr or health store associate and find a good quality fish oil. Fish Oil is one of those super vitamins that we should all take. . If I was in your shoes, I would try fish oil (from research) and eliminate sugar from diet (from family experience). Best of luck to you and your family!
