I'm with Green Energy UK and they are a fantastic company to deal with, I'm in a 3 bed terrace, I have a log burner for heating but do a lot of welding in my garage which uses a lot and I'm paying about £60 per month. Www.greenenergyuk.com

I've moved to bulb and I've already saved £420 with them. I was with British gas for so long and couldn't be bothered to move because I thought it was too much hassle. It couldn't have been easier, just wish I had done it sooner. You can get a quote from them http://bulb.co.uk/refer/emmarobbie

Have a look at these people that I’ve just written about. They swap you on to the best tariff for you each time your current deal comes to an end http://beingmrsc.com/being_mrs_c/2018/02/look-bills-saving-money-minimal-effort.html

Sounds like you are on their standard tariff, nor a fixed deal or dual fuel. Our 3 bed, old, not brilliantly insulated, work from home so heating on regularly throughout the day £120 /month. All suppliers will have deals that are fairly close to each other in price, might save a couple of pounds one over another, until that deal ends and a different one will be cheaper. Pop your usage into uswitch.com.

It’s doesn’t matter what other people are paying, what their thermotstat is set at etc. If you haven’t switched in the last 2/3 years you will be paying too much. There is no loyalty with companies anymore and you should be regularly switching every 12/18 months (depending on fixed deals) Check your bills to find out your average usage and have a look on uswitch.com for comparison tariffs. It’s a 10 minute job to transfer to another provider and really is hassle free.
Gary M. replied:
Just go on to uswitch.com an enter your annual consumption figures. This will produce a list of suppliers (top ones will probably be ones you haven’t heard of before). This list will show you any potential savings you can make. Then by all means ask for advice on the customer service of these particular companies but comparing your bill to anybody else’s really won’t help one bit. These far too many variables - how much time you spend at home, Energy rating of your appliances etc

We never turn our heating off, just turn up and down on the thermostat 3 bed house £57 a month. I heard years ago that is the most economical way, because u dont have to heat a whole tank up from cold. British Gas
Hi everyone. I bet they're working 25/7 at the moment, but can you recommend a central heating engineer? Thank you!
