Island pet hospital! Dr Watson loves skin!

Not sure about skin allergies, but I've taken my pets to Camino Al Norte Vet on Ann and Camino Al Norte, and I've also taken them to Craig Rd, farther down Craig towards Decatur.

Aloha AH is a bit of a drive but I swear by them. If you go to Camino Al Norte DO NOT see Dr Holsendolph, she performed 2 surgeries on a dog and didn't notice her severe heart condition. Dr Snead or Dr Gaudin are good.

HI Amy I have traveled to another state for my dog, so not sure if Dr Nancy Brandtt will be too far, she is near Rainbow & 215, but I think she is the best. She will not only make it imperative to find source of allergy trigger but she will help plan a holistic approach. I deal with allergy issues with mine. Best thing I have dog was giving my dogs with allergies and one with Mast Cell tumor colostrum and frankincense.

Oasis Animal Hospital on Eastern is owned by the Vet Dr. Brian Fisher. He is very kind and his staff is wonderful. Our Pug Yoda actually enjoys going to the vet since we began going there.

I love Stephanie Animal Hospital. My dog had an allergic reaction to get shots so we took her back in and after we left that called every day for 3 days to check on her and ask questions about her. They have a cat that lives there and when the cat got sick they did surgery on him.

Dr George Anast at Sandy Hill Animal Clinic off of Sandhill & Trop is AMAZING in every way! He cares, doesn't charge for ridiculous things or anything unnecessary, & is very straight forward. Might be a little bit of a drive, but well worth it. He's taken excellent care of all of our furbabies for many years.

We took Lucy in to Warm hearts with a bump on her head which with her bread & color we feared the worst. They wanted to biopsy it, $1500. Took her to Greatful Pets he has Boxers & was like no, put this cream on it. She's too young for it to be something to worry about & it did go away!!

They're definitely affordable. Our dog needed her eye removed and they did a perfect job for less than half what the specialist quoted us.

If you're in the NW area, VCA Decatur is an amazing hospital. The doctors are all great, and a relative of mine is one of the kennel people that will handle you/your pet most of the time. If you're down by Henderson, VCA Black Mountain took amazing care of my pitbull when he broke his leg, even when no other hospital would work with me due to financial circumstances. The doctor at Decatur was the on that got me in touch with the doc@Black Mountain, so there's another point on the board for VCA Decatur.

We have used Parkway Springs Animal Hospital in Henderson for our dog and one of the cats. I thought their price was more than reasonable. Can't remember if it was $30 or $40 for the visit fee.

Andrea Mahan-Barber I used to take my Dane to Dr Trimmer, a dermatology/allergy specialist over on Durango, and she was wonderful! We haven't gotten to the extreme where I would need to see a specialist yet, but its good to keep a little reminder list.:) Coconut oil every few days has helped to keep the hotspots under control, with benadryl here and there. We got a topical from our vet recently for the spots that get chapped and cracked from his licking, mainly when it flares up. Poor little naked man, lol. Im not sure if its worse for the naked dogs or if its just way more visible on them.
