The Wesley Memorial School at Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church, 1225 Chestnut Dr., HP. We have preschool for children 3 months through kindergarten. I teach prek there and we would love to have your child. We have an excellent kindergarten program that will prepare children for first grade- most preschools only serve through prek. I’d be happy to set up a visit for you.

Community Bible Church at 4125 Johnson St. in High Point is a great church (non-denominational). They have a wonderful youth program that includes Sunday worship, American Heritage Girls and Trail Life (outdoor christian adventure programs), KIDSTUFF (a fun program once a month that gets the youth up on stage for skits and songs and things), and many other fun activities for youth and adult alike. There are also a lot of teens and older that are great with babysitting... cbchurch.org

Bizi Kidz High Point is a great option for drop in child care. They are not a daycare but hourly drop in care, more like a babysitting service. They serve ages 1 to 11 and kids can stay a maximum of 4 hours a day. No contracts or registration fees required, just an hourly fee when they come and play. Check them out at www.bizikidzhighpoint.com

Covenant Church on Skeet Club has a wonderful preschool program and we can highly recommend for church. If you don’t have plans for Christmas Eve Services (Sunday) please come to the children’s Nativity service at 9:30 am. Come early to pick a costume from the Christmas story (angel, shepherd, animal, etc.) and each child is invited to participate when the story is read. There is also a regular service at 11 am and candlelight/communion services at 5 pm and 8 pm. The church has wonderful children’s and adult programs throughout the year. There are 3 services each Sunday morning and one is with contemporary music while the other two are more traditional. Hope to see you there.

High Point Christian Preschool on the corner of Rotary and Phillips is really wonderful. They offer both p/t and extended care options. https://www.hpcacougars.org/academics/preschool/ As for a church, it depends what you are looking for. We attend the Summit Church in Kernersville. It is just off 311 on the edge of HP. We absolutely love it there and have several service options. http://www.thesummitchurch.net/
