I am looking to get a tattoo, this will be the first time for me. I have a design so I don't need that part, but a place that is reasonable and fair as in clean, good,...

Glenn Scott is way overpriced. You're paying for the name, and he rarely does tattoos anymore. Eric Rotramel(sp?) at Truth & Triumph is great. It's good to know that Chris Long at Fairborn Tattoo is still in the game. I have a cover up by him that still looks great 16 years later. Both of those guys are really great people too.

Glenn Scott is a legend and he still does tattoos
Jenn C. replied:
Joseph Palmer does great work!!

I have seen Matt Clemmer's work and I LOVE his style! I also think that it depends on what tattoo you want. Certain artists specialize in certain types of tattoos (portraits, black and grey, script, etc) Figure out what you want then look at people's work and choose which one has a style closest to what you want. http://ink361.com/app/users/ig-190410546/mattdclemmer/photos

I saw Nic Wetzel at Blue Byrd Tattoo on Wayne Ave last year. It is a very clean, well managed shop and the work was excellent. I fully recommend him.
Amanda H. replied:

Amanda A. replied:
Frank Gomez at Krazy Katz is awesome. He is fair in pricing, very clean, and very precise in his work. He can draw out just about anything and I have never had to go back for a touch up. He is very steady handed and highly recommended.
Michelle S. replied:
Don't go to Tattoo Tech. Both of my kids went there and had to have their ink redone. Oasis did mine and they did an excellent job. They do original designs and I have had so many compliments. I believe Truth and Triumph is set to open a new shop soon. I have heard good things about them also.
Michele M. replied:
Blue Byrd Wayne, ask for Nick or Will.. they are both AMAZING!!!
Shelby P. replied:
I have seen some amazing work from Mystery Ink, but I would definitely not recommend it only bcus I had a horrible experience and my tattoo looks horrible... Tattoo Tech and Truth and Triumph both do good but Truth and Triumph is expensive but u get what u pay for. Josh Wiley does amazing work too. I've never had work done by him but my friend Dave did and showed me Joshs work and its amazing.

He' vigilant too, he stayed 4 hours after the place was closed to finish ours up and didn't charge us extra.

This isn't to bash anyone else our float my boat, but I do the best UV tattoos in the area. Been doing then for 6 years now. I use the best brand of ink (the ONLY brand worth using). And I have the proper technique and I created the best after care plan to minimize scarring.
