The Governor General usually just refers things on to the Attorney General. We are working through the office not the person if you know what I mean. In his new role he must be impartial to his previous work. On the other hand as Judge in Sue's case we must always remember that he is constrained by the law and proceedure of his position as Judge. Secondly it is the legal system that has let Sue down and this would be a great opportunity for him to redress that wrong.
