Looking for a acura/Honda mechanic Hello all my car won't start and can't get any power to it. Would anyone know a mechanic who works at Acura or Honda for some...
torotoro replied:
Try Jasper Autoworks. He specializes in Honda/Acura. Used to work for the dealership; started his own thing. I know LOTS of Acura owners (myself included), and even some Acura employees, who trust him.

I have a Civic and just got a recall notice about my airbag inflators. I work near sherwood park so I took it to Sherwood Honda and the experience was actually really good. I'm pretty heavily against servicing vehicles at dealerships but this one was going to be free (recall) so I figured I'd give them a shot. While my car was in with them, they did an inspection and gave me a breakdown of all the things they checked and what needed to be fixed and what could wait. They found that my timing belt needed to be replaced, and being that it was something that I wasn't comfortable doing at home, I figured I'd give them the go ahead. It took hardly any time at all (would have been done that day if I hadn't forgot my lug nut key at home) and they kept me informed of everything that was going on. It came in well under the estimated price that they had sent me and even knocked 10% off parts and 10% off labour. Also, free shuttle, and a free wash. **TL;DR** Sherwood Honda gave me great service Also, My parents took their acura to Top Tech (behind the old Humpty's on yellowhead and 127 st) for many years.

if you can't get it going, one stop auto has worked on thousands of hondas. they are honest and have been in business for years. very well known by folks who have lived in southside edmonton for a long time.

My only advice would be avoid the south Acura dealer at all costs. Nightmare after nightmare. I finally switched to the west end and they seemed fine enough, till we sold the vehicle.

Hallie on STJ. Not sure if his #. Call the STJ repair shop. They'll have it. Even if you're on STT, maybe he could recommend a transmission mechanic on STT.
Looking for an experienced mechanic to fix a 2004 Ford Explorer. Car runs great but then sputters out sporadically like its losing gas.. Think it might be a fuel pump...
