There is a website care.com that has listings for people looking for nanny jobs. It gives you the option to background check them. I haven't been on in a long time but I think you make a posting with what you are looking for and people can contact you for interviews.

I use care.com as a nanny looking for jobs. There are a lot of choices on that site. I think the family searching for a nanny has to pay a small fee but it could be worth it. There is also sittercity.com
