Preston Pratt knows someone. I believe his name is Adam. I think he is online. I just can't remember his name. I contacted him with my daughter. Great advice and is a advocate. You can find Preston in my friends list. I will look and see if I can find out Adams last name and number for you too. I just can't remember it off top of my head. Pm Preston and he can lead you in right direction. Good luck it's not a easy think. Fight fight fight is best advice I can give you. If you want to pm too you are welcomed too. I might be able to help also. It took us almost two years to finally get her a IEP plan which was much needed and so far so good. Still got few issues that need attention but schools are pain in butt. They don't want to spend money so of course they fight IEP plans big time. Even when clearly needed big time. They were just going to push her through all 12 years but from me fighting hard and being very vocal on public websites of problems we had it got attention and after testing and her teacher going to bat for us they agreed 100% it was needed. Since then for last year she's been removed out of special ed math and has passed her grade level in math(which is normal for special ed kids like my daughter to be excellent in math by the way). But she still gets helped in everything else and will for life. It's ruff. Send hug from special needs mommy to another. Hang in there.

Missy Alexander is an awesome advocate and if you're from Charles County, the Charles County Parent Center is an incredible resource for parents. Can't express enough how helpful they are.
