I flew from new orleans to ATX then caught a ride in a cessna from ATX down to wharton, and had a friend drive me from wharton to houston it was expensive but not too obscene. on a weird note, I got to see the damage to the SW side from the air, flying in towards wharton... it was eye-popping. so, so, SOOOO many abandoned/trapped cattle out there.
