We had great success with Teresa at The Hungry Puppy. You can do classes in a group at the store or she can come to your home. Her coming to your home is more costly than group classes. The Hungry Puppy is on 33 in Farmingdale. Their food prices are great too and will deliver for free with a minimum $50 purchase.

Kindred Souls. Pete is great and you are involved in training your dog which is how it should be as then they will listen to you. Took two of our three dogs there. One we did basic obedience and then the advanced to canine good citizen. The second we just did the basic and the third we never took and it TOTALLY makes a difference and our one that went to both classes is the best listener and most well behaved of the bunch! Wishing we had stuck with it and done the other classes for the other ones! You do have to commit to it. Which if u are a responsible dog owner you should do anyway!http://www.ksk9.com/

Daniel Dowling at NJ D.O.G.S. Training Center 908-309-5118. Danny has the best trained dog I have ever seen. He has a true understanding of dogs. Dan is very dedicated and discipline. He has worked with two of my friends who have done nothing but praise him. Reach out to him. I don't think he would disappoint you.

A little far for Howell residents, but well worth the drive. I've taken 6 dogs there so far (not all mine!): http://www.cleverk9 dogtraining.com

I have a Rottweiler. We tried two other training programs and the one that finally hit home with her was Baker Dog Training. He comes to your house and sees how your dog behaves in their own environment. After a year and a half of being out of control and destroying the house we can now manage her.
