Recommendations on a place that makes awesome wedding/grooms cakes? Thanks! Hello Houston, so my best friend is getting married in two months and I'm the best man so...

My wife has a cake bakery here in Houston, but she stopped doing wedding cakes because they ruin our weekends. I just asked her and she suggested [Cakes by Gina](http://www.cakesbyginahouston.com/).

I've heard good things about [Jody Cakes](http://jodycakes.com/). I would NOT recommend Joie Cakes. She's very nice, accommodating, and seems to communicate well, but I got a non-wedding cake from her and she just missed the chocolate completely in a marble cake and claimed that chocolate cake mix somehow rises to the top and she cut ALL of it off when evening out the cake.

We used Supreme Kakes for bride and groom cakes. Highly recommend. Fair price and delicious!

Best groom's cake I ever had was from [Acadian Bakers](http://acadianbakers.com/). Brownie chocolate mousse cake. It's amazing and decadent. I've even ordered it for birthdays. Get the ganache icing and chocolate dipped strawberries added on.

I need recommendations on a bakery for Caitlyn's birthday cake. Looking for a cute cake, but not expensive... Any ideas?

HEB has yummy cakes but my friend Starla Hughes Bridges makes awesome cakes!! You could do a nice decorative cake for Caitlyn and then just cupcakes for everyone else??
