http://www.amalfispizzeria.com/ Look for any of the Almalfi's. They ship their ingredients down from Jersey. They put out a pretty good pie. They are a chain. I know there are 2 locations in Statesville.

Hey Jen, check out http://www.ferruccis.com/ in Cornelius. They may be able to refer you to a good bakery. As for pizza, the closest to NY pizza I found is Tony's in Mooresville. Near Super Target on Hwy 150. Other than that, I've got nothin'.

Cabo Fish Taco is nearby. Very good as well.

Besides Amelies, are there any bakeries in North Charlotte or Mooresville that sell gluten-free baked goods (not special order), particularly cupcakes?
Linda W. replied:
Next week a gf Bakery line of cookies will be coming to Healthy Home Market in Davidson. The company is called My Dad's Cookies. They make delicious cupcakes too so hopefully they will offer those as well. I will talk to the purchaser to see if he can order some.
Stephanie M. replied:
You can pre-order a dozen cupcakes at Just Baked in Cornelius.
Linda W. replied:
No, they sell out of stores they are based in New York. I do know of one that opened up on Monroe called Sprue-Lucius Gluten Free Foods. It is located in Fowler Secrest Plaza, 704 219 6030. Sorry, it is kind of far for you. From my Android phone on T-Mobile. The first nationwide 4G network.

Sorry it's Maddy's Fatty's. Here's a link to the recent article. They are not an exclusive GF bakery but one of the owners has celiac and they explain how they do they handle their GF baking. http://www.lakenormancitizen.com/business/the-pulse/item/1886-out-to-prove-theyre-no-passing-fad-dy.html
